Skye came into the room while we were watching a movie. She nudged me with her nose and I automatically responding by stroking her without removing my eyes from the screen. She nudged me again with more energy. It's when I noticed the dark stains on her fur. I turned on the light and saw that the stains were actually bright red. She had blood all over!

She didn't seem much in distress and was actually quite excited. It was most probably not her blood. Who did she kill? I stood up and followed her in the backyard, where she proudly showed me her victim. A little mole. He had been quite active in the yard lately, and had tempted Skye for quite some time.
Rest in peace little one.
